QPhoton is an open source photo viewer and image editor.  This project is developed according to the open source philosophy and is distributed under GNU/GPL license. For more info about open source and free software, please visit the Free Software Foundation Europe or the GNU website.

V 0.3.0 released
Today, November the 13th 2007, the QPhoton team released the version 0.3.0. After long development time, the entire application has been rewritten. Version 0.3.0 is stable but not mature; beta testers are welcome, download here.

Starting from a picture, Warhol Plugin will create four images in Andy Warhol style. This plugin is under development and will be delivered with QPhoton v 0.4.0. If you want to see some preview screenshots go to the screenshots page or go to plugins page to download new plugins.

 


Requirements QPhoton Scripts
Operating System:
  • QPhoton is available for GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows ™ platforms.
  • Sources can be compiled on Mac OS X but they are not yet tested.

Memory:

  • Miminum 256 MB

Hard Disk:

  • Miminum 30 MB free

QPhoton uses QSA scripting engine from Trolltech to allow users to interact and customise QPhoton. QSA scripting language is based on ECMA 4.0 specifications (Javascript). Script page will contain scripts for batch operations written by QPhoton team and by the users.
